Watson Furniture Desks: Bahn Desks

Watson's Bahn Desks come in two options, Height Adjustable Rectangles and 120° Worksurfaces. A flush-mounted switch in the surface provides user control, desk screens are available which can function as privacy panels and there is no storage at the desk though it can be added as an additional feature.

    Watson Furniture Desks: Tia Series

    The attached spreadsheet provides information on the Watson Tia Series of desks, team tables and conference tables as it relates to the features and options, dimensions for the products and the range of costs for each feature.

    TIA DESKS

    • Tia Office Desks features personal power docks with an integrated cable management channel and a comfort edge. A tech cabinet is required to house the lifting column which is enclosed within the storage credenza.
    • Options available to buyers include the option to choose a Cove Pull Option or a Tab Pull Option for the drawers, a wide range of finishing.
    • Modesty Panels and secondary storage are optional and are also available in a range of options.
    • Desks are available in 60"W drawer support credenza, 72" W drawer support credenza, 72" W combo support credenza, 84" W drawer support credenza, 84" W combo support credenza, 96" W drawer support credenza and run off desk.
    • Dimensions are 24" in height, a depth of 30" or 36" and widths of 60", 72" or 84" for depths of 30" and 72", 84" or 96" for depths of 36".

    The Tonic Series from Watson Furniture offers clean designs with robust durability, adapted to the client's needs for better organization, flexibility, and ease of use. All products in the Tonic series are warranted for life and designed to last forever. A range of standard and custom options available for workbenches, desks, chairs, accessories, and storage units are outlined in the attached spreadsheet.

    TONIC SERIES

    • Tonic Series offers clean design office furniture with robust durability, flexibility, and ease of use.
    • All furniture of Tonic Series uses Green guard certified laminates, PVC-free edge banding, NAF board, and 100% recyclable steel.
    • Tonic Series offers 35 standard laminate finishes, six edge profiles, and 19 powder coat colors with an extensive palette for choice and flexibility.
    • The furniture offers 1.125-inch work surface thickness and 12-gauge recycled steel yoke that prolongs the life of the products.
    • Tonic Series offers life-time warranty for its products.
    • Tonic Series comprises four segments, i.e., Tonic Benches, Simple Tables, Tonic Storage, and Accessories.

    Power and Data Port Options

    • Desks and tables with a width less than 60" have a plug option of a small drop-in with 2 power receptacles and 1 data port.
    • Set of 2 Power and 2 data with a 120" cord which is trimmed in a Silver Mica plastic finish.
    • Set of 3 Power and 2 dual USB with a 120" cord which is trimmed with a silver powder-coated aluminum finish.

    Watson Furniture Desks: Seven Series

    The Seven Series from Watson Furniture offers simple designs adapted to the client's needs for better organization, flexibility, and ease of use. A range of standard and custom options are available for workbenches, desks and tables, and are outlined in the attached spreadsheet.

    POWER/DATA INTEGRATION

    • Workbenches and Tables within the Seven Series are able to facilitate power/data integration.
    • The Workbench has standard power and heavy power options to choose from. Both allow 3 data connections per user, but the latter option offers twice as many power connections at 8 per user instead of 4.
    • Standard dimensions for the Workbench include heights of 46" or 52" and depths of 29" or 32", and are available in rectangular or super elliptical shapes.
    • Segment widths are dependent on the power option chosen. Standard power segment widths include 48", 54", 60", 66", and 72" options; and heavy power segments include 60", 66", and 72".
    • The standard power option ranges from $1410 to $1630 for the single-sided base model with increasing width, and the heavy power option is $1870. These prices are the same for both the rectangle and super ellipse shapes.
    • The power options for meeting tables are not as advanced, but come in the form of add-ons with fees ranging from $53 to $650. Options include cutout only, 2 power + 2 data, 4 or 6 power, and 4 power + 2 data.
    • Flip and Multipurpose tables can facilitate a grommet power cutout for an additional $50 and data connections such as MINIPORT-4 for no additional fee.

    DOUBLE-SIDED BENCHES & PRIVACY

    • Workbenches are also available in double-sided segments, and are available with a variety of privacy options.
    • The dimensions are the same as the single-sided segments described earlier except for the depth which is either 54" or 60" in total.
    • Dual-sided, standard power benches range from $1860 to $2280 in price, while heavy power is $2520.
    • There are 3 spine options for the dual-sided benches including a Jot Board, Tak Screen, and Pin Screen. A Spine Modesty is also available for single-sided benches.
    • Starting prices for each spine are $550, $590, $590, and $90 respectively; each increasing with the width.
    • End privacy panels are also available for single and dual-sided options ranging from $90 to $1070. However, there does not seem to be an option for panels that separate legs for dual-sided benches.

    USER-FRIENDLY ELECTRIC SWITCHES

    • Electrical switches may be embedded into workbench surfaces (Flushmount) or under-mounted as preferred. A premium Wellness switch option may be under-mounted that provides additional capabilities such as surface height monitoring, calorie consumption, and programming of sit/stand cycles.
    • Such features are integrated with the standard size options described previously for the Seven series. The embedded and undermount options have no additional charge, but the Wellness option requires an additional $140 per surface.

    HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

    • Available for desks and workbenches in the Seven series, height adjustments are possible with notch, crank, and electric mechanisms. All desk base models are set at a fixed height of 29.5".
    • The Notch Adjustable allows for a height range of 26" to 39" with 1" increments, and the Crank Adjustable provides the same range without the incremental constraints.
    • The Standard Electric has a range from 27" to 47" with a lifting capacity of 250lbs compared to the 150lbs for the Crank Adjustable. The Extended Range Electric has the same lifting capacity with a range from 22" to 48", allowing sit-to-stand adjustments.
    • For a standard rectangular or elliptical desk with depths of 23", 26" or 29", the width can range from 41" to 71". The price for the Fixed, Crank, Electric, and Extended Electric options are $1000, $1270, $1730, and $1870 respectively for the smallest model. Although, the Notch adjustable model was mentioned in the product catalog, a corresponding price was not listed.
    • For the smallest Extended Corner desk model which comes in depths from 41" to 59" with increments of 3", and widths ranging from 53" to 71"; the prices are $1700, $2560, $3290, and $3480 respectively.
    • The Verve desk model has depths and widths of 62", 65", 68" or 71", and the prices for the smallest model are $1980, $2840, $3570, and $3760 respectively.
    • For workbenches, the prices for each variation depend on the width, number of sides, and power option. For the smallest single-sided, standard power option, the prices are $1860, $3310, $4690 and $5010 respectively.

    CABLE MANAGEMENT

    • The utility beams that provide support to the benches, desks, and tables are all designed with special brackets and/or clamps for use as integrated cable management. They may be mounted on the inside or outside, and are available for all standard dimensions.
    • If preferred, additional cable strips or sleeves may be purchased at $50 and $130 respectively for workbenches, and a $90 cable manager for desks.

    REVERSIBILITY

    • Flip tables fitted with Surface Interlock Assembly may be chosen, which allow for easy flipping of the work surface as necessary. They are available in a variety of shapes and sizes including rectangles, keystones, trapezoids, and semi-circles with heights of 29".
    • The basic rectangle option has depths of 20", 24", 30" and 36" and widths ranging from 48" to 96", with prices ranging from $1280 to $2480.
    • The trapezoid can have depths of 20" or 30" and widths ranging from 60" to 72", with a price range of $1350 to $1460.
    • Both the keystone and half circles offer depths of 24", 30" or 36" and widths of 48", 60" or 72". The price range is the same for both at $1170 to $1750.
    • The dimensions for the flip tables are the same as the multipurpose tables in the Seven series.

    MEDIA INTEGRATION

    • Meeting tables are fitted with a special 7" by 14" routing box to facilitate media integration.
    • These tables come in rectangle, hexagon, trapezoid, square, and circle shapes. The last two may have depths and widths of 29", 35" or 41", and have the same price range of $1190 to $1460.
    • The hexagon and trapezoid options may have depths of 41" or 47" and widths ranging from 47" to 95". Both of their price ranges are $1670 to $2380.
    • The rectangle option has the same depths and width options as the hexagon and trapezoid, but is also offered with a depth of 35". The price range is also the same as these shapes.
