VMS Firms - Top Players

Our research team was able to identify Verint System, Fieldglass, Exacq Technologies, Salient Systems, and 3VR as some top five VMS companies in the United States. 
Salient Systems is a private company founded in 1995 and its located in the United States. Salient System is a manufacturer of video surveillance management systems (VMS).
Our research team has completed Rows 2-6, Columns A-D of the project spreadsheet.
METHODOLOGY
We began by combing through companies' website, company annual reports, industries reports and third-party company's database for information regarding the top five VMS companies in the United States. We utilize PR Newswire, Abnewswire, and Business Wire, to determine the top VMS companies in the United States.

Next, we scoured through annual reports and third-party company's database like Crunchbase, D&B Hoover, and Craft.co to determine the company’s annual revenue. This strategy was successful. We were able to determine the annual revenues and have used this metrics to rank these companies as top VMS companies in the United States.

We have provided a detailed report of our key findings in the attached spreadsheet.

Verint Systems offers customer engagement solutions and cyber intelligence solutions; Fieldglass' main products are external talent management, services procurement, worker profile management, and SAP Fieldglass Flex; and Exacq offers exacqVision Video Management System (VMS) Solutions. Many users have expressed their satisfaction in the ease of use of all these systems. The pricing for the products and services offered by the three companies is not defined, and clients need to contact individual companies for pricing. After thorough research, we have provided the requested information in the attached spreadsheet, Rows 3–5, Columns E-I.

VMS Firms - Competitive Landscape (Rows 6 - 7)

The required information regarding products offered, competitive advantage, pricing information, target market, and ability to switch for Salient and 3VR had been inputted in rows 6-7 of the spreadsheet. However, the information about the cost of the products for Salient and 3VR is not available. 
Methodology
We started the search for the pricing information of each company by scouring each of their websites. In this search, we met a paywall. Each of the company requires customers to use the “Where to Buy” option and the “Contact Sales” option to get further information about the prices of their products and to possibly request a sales quote. 

We then looked into various press releases and announcements in hopes of finding useful information about the given topic. We also looked into different product reviews, as some reviewers usually review the price points of each product. None of our searches yielded fruitful results. However, we were able to find a price relating to a “Three-Year Services Agreement” between 3VR’s Identiv and two banks. We included this information in the spreadsheet. 

Lastly, we scoured each of the company’s annual reports, but we were only able to find 2014 product listings for Salient. The product listings were out-of-date; however, because these were the only available price listings, we decided to include this information in the spreadsheet.
