Selected Findings

Research Strategy

For this research on venues in Paris and Beijing that classify as tier-1 and tier-2 based on the provided criteria, we searched for listings of each type of venue in both cities and selected those that meet the criteria.

Note that due to the limited information about convention centers that meet the classification criteria, we included some exhibition centers. After an exhaustive search for convention and conference centers in Paris via sources such as the official website of the Paris Tourist Office, we could only find two venues that meet the criteria.

Which venues in New York City and Beijing classify as tier-1 and tier-2, based on the provided criteria?

Introduction

This research provides tier-1 and tier-2 locations as outlined in the provided slide for New York City and Beijing. Convention and indoor arena spaces were limited in New York City, and, as more theaters with large seating capacities were available in New York City, these were provided in the attached spreadsheet.

The attached spreadsheet contains the requested locations for New York City and Beijing.

Selected Findings

Research Strategy

For this research on tier-1 and tier-2 venues in New York City and Beijing, we leveraged the most reputable sources of information that were available in the public domain, including TripAdvisor, Mutual Art, Live the Language Beijing, Travel China Guide, Visit Beijing, Trip.com, Architectuul.com, Travelocity, The New York Stadium Guide, Hotels.com, and Newsweek. For some of the New York City locations, we had to convert square feet to square meters and did so using an online conversion system. Some references were older than Wonder's standard 24-month time frame and were primarily used to obtain size information about locations in Beijing. Some museums that might seem likely to be included, such as the Guggenheim, were not included as they did not meet the threshold for size.
