VC Funds Founded By Women, Rows 3-18
Sixteen women who are managing directors, founders, or general partners of U.S. venture capital funds have been listed in rows 3-18 of the "VC Fund Founded by Women" tab of the attached spreadsheet. My methodology and summary of findings are below.
To find the 16 women in rows 3-18 of the attached spreadsheet, I used a variety of precompiled lists including Business Insider's "30 Women in Venture Capital to Watch in 2018," Medium's "Announcing the Women in VC Blog," and TechCrunch's "Announcing the 2017 Update to the Crunchbase Women in Venture Report." I then cross-referenced each name and firm with those already listed in rows 19-33 and on the "Client Provided List" tab to ensure I did not duplicate names or firms. I also verified each firm was located in the United states, along with funding amounts and dates. Please be aware that although the request asks for 15 names, it also specifies that rows 3-18 be completed, which would provide 16 names. As such, I decided to identify 16 women instead of 15.
