When conducting this study, the research team chose the websites Pitch, and Inc, which provided lists of firms which support women businesses. After reviewing both websites, the research team used two of the six companies listed on Pitch and found the other eight companies by thoroughly analyzing a list of fifty companies on the Inc website. The research team chose only eight, as most of the companies listed did not include cosmetic-based businesses.
