US Women's Only Colleges
Women's only colleges and universities are excellent vehicles for female learning and empowerment. The women's only colleges included in the attached spreadsheet have been included because they placed within the top 20 on one or more best college lists from niche and collegechoice. You will find many with an icon from US News and World Report posted on their website. The complete details of my research findings have been updated on the attached spreadsheet.
The enrollment numbers used to find the top twenty women's colleges were gathered from undergraduate enrollment only as many of the women's only colleges allow men to enroll for and take graduate -level courses. The colleges with the largest attendance are Smith College and Barnard College. Both colleges listed their enrollment at 2,600 female students. The college with the lowest enrollment is Mills College, which reports enrollment at 762 female students. Saint Mary's College of Notre Dame, Indiana is ranked in 9th place on the list with an enrollment of 1,625 students.
