To identify the top manufacturers of tractor drawbars in the United States, we began by searching for industry reports on the tractor implements market (drawbar is a type of tractor implement attached to a tractor). We were able to find market reports by Markets And Markets, MarketResearch, Research And Markets and Profound Research listing the key leaders in the market but the reports were behind a paywall and we couldn't access all information presented in the report.
Next, we combed through media sites for mentions of the key or top manufacturers of tractor drawbars in the United States. We were able to find news articles on the market and key leaders on sources such as Bloomberg, PRNewswire, GlobeNews . Unfortunately, the information presented in the media sources were from market reports from the mentioned sources above and were only available behind a paywall.
After the above strategies failed, we resort to triangulating the information. We first searched through the NAICS database for the SIC industry code of the farm machinery and equipment manufacturers then, we used the SIC code to search the DNB database for companies in the industry. We leveraged the DNB database advanced filter features to include only companies in the United States and sort the companies by revenues. On finding the agricultural equipment manufacturers, we determined if the companies manufacture tractor drawbars by combing through the websites of the company and also agricultural eCommerce parts site such as Find it Parts, Tractor Parts Asap, Abile Machine, Aga-Parts, for the drawbar parts of the companies.
