Research Strategy

Due to lack of public disclosure by Cisco and the US government, we did not find publicly available information on Cisco's pricing for FedRAMP-authorized unified communications services. We implemented the following research strategies:

Our first course was to conduct a thorough research of Cisco's website to find any available information. We also conducted an xray search of the site (which worked with Collab9's website). However, Cisco continually redirected all inquiries to its email and hotline. There were no pricing information available on the site.

Next, we looked at the US government's FedRAMP's website which listed Cisco as an authorized partner. While it provided helpful information such as product features and government departments that used the product, the website did not publish any publicly accessible information on pricing.

Lastly, we looked at US government departments that used the service. While we found some information and reports that mentioned Cisco's UCM Cloud for Government such as this DoD report, there was no published information on pricing. We also looked at IT product pricing resource sites such as ITPrice.com and review sites to see if there are any arbitrary mentions of the product's pricing. We found no information on Cisco's UCM Cloud for Government pricing or price range from any of these online sources. Therefore, we have provided the pricing for the closest product category which is Cisco's Cloud Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) solution. These have been outlined above.
