Clinical Audit Programs 1
We have provided the requested data points for the clinical audit programs listed from rows 3 to 19 of the clinical audit programs tab of the attached spreadsheet. As available, we have provided at least three of the most recently published audit reports for each of the program. However, no audit report was found for the National Clinical Audit of Anxiety and Depression (NCAAD) clinical audit program. As such, we have entered N/A on the corresponding cells.
Clinical Audit Programs 2
As requested, we entered the information requested, such as the website of the clinical audit program supplier, audits included, names and links to their most recent audit reports, and publication website, in the spreadsheet attached.
For the names and links to the most recent audit reports, we only included reports published in 2018 and 2019. Although these reports were published recently, its contents may be audit for data collected in 2017 and prior. For example, the National Lung Cancer Audit Annual Report 2018, which was published in May 2019, was for the audit period in 2017.
The links we used for the recent reports directly route to the PDF file, unless there are multiple parts to the report, such as the National Vascular Registry's infographic reports of the annual audit and the Child Health Clinical Outcome Review Programme's "Each and Every Need" report. In cases like this, we put the link to the page where one can download each part of the report in the spreadsheet.
For the National Child Mortality Database, they were commissioned by HQIP in February 2018, and they have yet to release their first report, so we put N/A in the corresponding column in the spreadsheet.
Rows 3-13, columns B-E on the “outcome publications” tab of the attached spreadsheet have been completed. The managing organisations provided include the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI), National Joint Registry (NJR), British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons (BAETS), and others. Only the 2018/2019 outcome publications for bowel cancer (colorectal surgery), interventional cardiology, orthopaedic surgery, thyroid and endocrine surgery, upper gastro-intestinal surgery, urological surgery, and vascular surgery have been released. The latest publications for the remaining specialties were published in 2017/2018.
