RESEARCH STRATEGY

As this request is a revision, the research team reviewed the research strategy from the original submission. It was extremely comprehensive, so we started from there. We decided, based on the client's statement that they were "curious as to what major players there are," to take another approach.

The research team took the list of companies providing strep and flu tests from the original research in report one to maintain consistency for the client. As there was no public information around market share for the Strep A or Influenza A & B diagnostic tests, we used the gross revenue of the manufacturer to rank the top three in each category. The research team found the annual revenue for each of the companies listed on Crunchbase and put the information into a spreadsheet. We then sorted by revenue, giving us a top three companies for each of the categories the client requested. For each company, we researched their products in that category for name and description. The attached spreadsheet also provides the client with a more fulsome list of the major players in the field.
