Top 50 Awards in the Marketing Industry (1 - 10)

Ten awards that include the marketing industry in the United States have been found from this list and added to the provided spreadsheet. The awards events were initially going to be ranked by popularity in terms of attendance or entries, but this information proved to be sporadic and was hard to find for many of the awards. Instead, the awards will be ranked by founding year to show that the most popular ones have been around the longest instead of dying out. Below you will find a brief list of the first ten awards that were found. More information, including contact information and an overview of each awards event can be found in this spreadsheet.

1. DMA Echo Awards - 1927 - New York
2. Adrian Awards - 1957 - New York
3. AME Awards - 1994 - New York
4. AVA Digital Awards - 1995 - Texas
5. Web Awards - 1997 - Massachusetts

Top 50 Awards in the Marketing Industry (11 - 20)

The provided marketing awards are recognized by various business owners, marketers, advertisers, entrepreneurs, and company audiences. These awards are leading in their respective marketing categories such as digital marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, website marketing, mobile marketing and search marketing. Details of these awards are provided in the attached spreadsheet.

FINDINGS

The next ten marketing awards that are considered leading and popular (as proven by their press and news mentions) are taken from the TrackMaven and WordStream lists and were added to the previously determined awards by the previous analyst/author. The way they are arranged does not denote their actual ranking as numbers of attendees or entries are not available for all these awards, thus, making it difficult to arrange the ranking based on attendance/entries. These lists are selected if they have a presence in the U.S., as most of these awards are also globally recognized.

Below you will find a brief list of the second ten marketing awards with their founding/first annual year.

1. The Mashies (2013)
2. Webby Awards (1996)
3. Digiday Content Marketing Awards (2014)
4. PR Daily’s Content Marketing Awards (2014)
5. Killer Content Awards (2012)
6. Corporate Social Media Awards (2015)
7. Facebook Awards (2012)
8. Shorty Awards (2010)
9. MMA Smarties Awards (2004)

Top 50 Awards in the Marketing Industry (31 - 40)

FINDINGS

To determine the popularity of the 31st-40th most popular Marketing Industry Awards I compared two separate lists and organized and summarized my research findings in the attached spreadsheet. Extinguishing these two lists, helped me to compile all the US based top Industry-wide Awards. The 31st-40th Top Marketing Awards by popularity are as follows: Obie Awards, B2 Awards, PRSA Awards, UPCEA Awards, Aster Awards, Diamond Awards, EX Awards, STAR Awards, Davey Awards, and The Nationals. It should be noted that there are other marketing awards with a broader industry feel, but they are global awards. I focused my research strictly on industry specific marketing awards and utilized relevance in a search for the most prestigious marketing awards to determine how the popularity of an award was perceived.
