What is the top 10 of supercar
The four parameters that differentiate a supercar from a sports car are six figure prices, exceptional design, low volume of production and high performance with 500+ horsepower. Publishers like Speed (NY Mag) and drivetribe among others agree that a powerful engine and high speed are what set the supercars apart. For this research, we have therefore taken speed as the criterion for generating the top 10 list.
The Sun.co.uk and gayot.com have both published top 10 lists of the fastest supercars in 2017. The Sun has a global ranking of 788 as compared to that of Gayot at 121,424, and therefore we can assume that The Sun is a more reliable source.
According to the Sun, below is the list of "Top 10 fastest and most powerful supercars". The top speed of each supercar is mentioned in brackets.
In conclusion, if we sort out supercars basis their price and engine power and rate them by their top speed, the fastest will be the Koenigsegg Agera RS, followed by Hennessey Venom GT and then the Bugatti Chiron.
