In order to provide an overview of positive and negative reviews of working as a delivery driver for FedEx, data was compiled from 198 driver reviews on website Glassdoor, and then cross-referenced this with reviews on job site Indeed, and job review site Career Bliss, from which we determined the most sought after aspects of being a driver at FedEx as well as the most common complaints from drivers.
Existing data points on national and regional pay rates and driver salaries were then used to calculate hourly rates and salaries for both counties, with an hourly pay of $24/hr and average salary of $48,000, well above the national average. FedEx Driver Reviews- Positives
- Job security and stable work availability was one of the most commonly mentioned benefits, likely because many FedEx drivers are contractors.
- Direct examples of comments on job security included; "consistent schedule weekly", "overtime available", and "stable work that is year round".
- Having a weekly pay schedule was also frequently highlighted as a great feature of being a driver at FedEx.
