To meet its goal, Pet Supplies Plus adopted the Sitecore Experience Platform, Sitecore Experience Database, and Sitecore Commerce. The adoption of Sitecore’s solutions has resulted in Pet Supplies Plus’ customers receiving a seamless, high-quality online experience.

2. HOMEFASHION GROUP (FORMERLY KNOWN AS KWANTUM)

Dutch company Homefashion Group provides flooring, wallpaper, window treatments, lighting, and furniture products for customers in the Netherlands and Belgium. The company was seeking a solution that could help refresh its flagship brand by shifting the perception from a discount furniture brand to a leader in modern, inspiring home furnishings. To meet its goal, Homefashion Group adopted the Sitecore Experience Platform and Sitecore Commerce. The adoption of Sitecore’s solutions have resulted in a lower IT costs due to an integrated platform and an increased in customer experience across all channels.

3. P&G

Cincinnati, Ohio-based P&G provides over 65 brands across several consumer products such as toothpaste, detergent, and diapers. The company was seeking a solution that could help manage its “800 online properties, 65 unique brands, across 80 different countries in various languages.” To meet its goal, P&G adopted the Sitecore Experience Platform. The adoption of Sitecore’s solution has resulted in the creation of a stronger, more consistent digital presence.

4. MOLSON COORS

Denver, Colorado-based Molson Coors is a beer brewery that offers brands such as Coors Light and Miller High Life. The company was seeking a solution that could solve its website’s design and navigation issues. To meet its goal, Molson Coors adopted the Sitecore Content Management System. The adoption of Sitecore’s solution has resulted in a new website that provides better user experience and improved functionality.

5. Carglass Belgian

Carglass Belgian specializes in repairing and replacing car windows for customers in Belgium and Luxembourg. The company was seeking a solution that could help it prepare for the “digital first” future. To meet its goal, Carglass Belgian adopted the Sitecore Experience Platform. The adoption of Sitecore’s solution has resulted in an increase in the customer effort score.

6. JURA

Switzerland-based JURA specializes in providing automatic coffee machines. The company was seeking a solution that could help it create a direct e-Commerce channel to expand its global sales footprint. Germany-based Graf von Faber-Castell provides a wide range of products for writing, drawing, and creative design. The company was seeking a solution that could create a “digital presence that embodies the company’s philosophy of delivering tradition and perfection.” To meet its goal, Graf von Faber-Castell adopted the Sitecore SAP system. The adoption of Sitecore’s solution has resulted in the company receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from its customers as they could easily find products that they are looking for.

9. YOUSEE

YouSee provides cable television to households in Denmark. The company was seeking a solution that could help it reduce the time for customer support and improve its content management system. To meet its goals, YouSee adopted the Sitecore Online Marketing Suite. The adoption of Sitecore’s solution has resulted in an increase in the overall online sales and sales of several benefits and services that are outside of the main products.

10. EASYJET

United Kingdom-based easyJet is a leading airline in Europe. The company was seeking a solution that could help it create personalized content on its website. To meet its goal, easyJet adopted the Sitecore Content Management System and Sitecore Online Marketing Suite. The adoption of Sitecore’s solutions has resulted in a creation of a personalized homepage and an increase in conversions from its homepage to the booking engine.

List of B2C Companies On Sitecore's Platform Part 2 (Only Asia-Pacific)

Incorporated in 2001 in Copenhagen, Sitecore is the vision of five friends who identified a more effective method for building and managing websites. Sitecore has received several awards and recognition as it has worked with several notable customers worldwide. Below is a list of 10 of its customers within the Asia Pacific Region providing services directly to consumers.

(1) Bank Central Asia

Headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, Bank Central Asia (BCA) was established in 1957 and offers its customers a wide range of financial solutions and convenient banking transactions through its strong inter-branch links, an extensive ATM network and other electronic banking services. In order to upgrade its content management platform and offer its customers a better online experience, BCA approached Sitecore, who implemented Sitecore XP for the bank, enabling them easy content upload and update, as well as visitor and marketing campaign analytics.

(2) QNET

This company is said to be one of "Asia's leading direct sales companies". It provides a variety of life-improving products and solutions that offer users both entrepreneurship opportunities and lifestyle enhancement. With a mission of aiding individuals in the successful achievement of their goals, and living better lives, the company offers a range of products in the following areas: Health & Wellness, Personal Care & Beauty, Technology, Education, and Relaxation. In a bid to improve its e-commerce platform, the company approached Sitecore, who implemented its Sitecore Experience Platform 8.1 and Sitecore Commerce powered by Commerce Server 8.1 solutions to create a single platform supporting over 100 countries, providing "Faster site roll outs", "Powerful analytics", and "personalized experience"for the company.

(3) Asahi Culture Centre

Regarded as the largest lifelong learning center in Japan, the Asahi Culture center has 13 classrooms nationwide with over 150 employees and offers courses in the areas of liberal arts, language, profits, health and hobbies. Their desire for a content management system to improve the efficiency of their digital marketing platform and allow for faster and easier course sign up, led them to Sitecore who implemented the Sitecore Experience Platform, hosted by Microsoft Azure. The newly implemented solution increased website visitor experience for the center, and also improved their site traffic.

(4) Canon

Canon, know as one of the world's leading imaging organization produces imaging products that encourage imagination within people, allowing them to connect, communicate and achieve more than they thought possible. The company which was established nearly 40 years ago in the early 1930s, in Tokyo, Japan, now has several imaging products such as cameras and printers, as well as several office locations around the world. The company's desire for a revamped intranet for its Australian and New Zealand offices, with a view to improving usability, accuracy of content and system stability, approached Sitecore to manage its intranet developed by an earlier identified web design agency called Blue Arc. This ultimately resulted in improvement in the presentation of the company's intranet content, improved efficiency in intranet usage, improved employee engagement, and an improved information architecture .

(5) Suzuki Motor Corporation

This company which originally started in October 1909 as Suzuki Loom Works, entered into the motor vehicle field in June 1952 with the launch of its Power Free 36cc, 2-cycle motorized bicycle. The company which is headquartered in Shizuoka, Japan and has over 15,000 employees, 69 domestic subsidiaries and 67 overseas subsidiaries. The company required a more robust content management system which led them to Sitecore. Sitecore integrated its CMS to the company's website with extended solutions such as cache Communicator, caching algorithm, and an administrative tool suite. The implemented solution resulted in a new highly efficient Content Management System for the company.

(6) Tokyo Gas

Known as Japan's largest city gas provider was established on October 1st, 1885, and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The company currently boasts of having over 11 million customers since its existence. The company required a solution upgrade to increase the number of its online visits and membership and with inputs from its technology partner Avanade, they built a new customer portal on Sitecore's Experience Platform (XP). This resulted in the increase of online traffic and membership up to 600%.

(7) Barfoot & Thompson

This family-owned business, which began in 1923 and has over 90 years experience in the real estate sector, is headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand. The company boasts of over 65 branches, over 1,700 commercial and residential sales employees, and offers services such as residential and commercial property sale, residential property management, auctions, and project management. The company needed a more robust content management solution to increase efficiency in the marketing department and also work seamlessly with their existing application. Working with a local IT company, Sitecore's modular and pluggable architecture including special features such as custom URL resolvers, aggressive caching and XSLT and JavaScript based functionality was built into the company's application. This resulted in a more responsive and functional application placing content management control back in the hands of the company's employees and improving efficiency and productivity overall.

(8) SIMPLOT

Recognizing Australians love for Asian food, Simplot created Five Tastes, a brand focused on teaching its customers how to produce Asian sauces and pastes at home using fresh ingredients. The company, which is headquartered in Mentone, Australia, needed a website to complement mobile user activity for its new brand and as such they approached a development agency who worked with Sitecore's Mobile Solution. After implementation, the brand's website generated over 15,000 fans and saw a total of 18,000 visitors monthly with a 50% access from mobile site access.

(9) University of Southern Queensland Australia (USQ)

The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) blends innovative leadership, teaching and learning methods to produce outstanding graduates. The university, which is regarded as one of Australia's most dynamic universities, desired a solution for the improvement of its online student experience. Working with a solution implemented by Sitecore, the educational organization was able to accomplish this goal.

(10) The Defense Alumni Network Australia

This initiative set up by the Australian Defense provided ex-personnel the opportunity to connect, share and engage with past colleagues and friends. They desired a new website for the efficient management of the network as well as easy information sharing between members. The organization worked with a digital creative agency, to create a new website built on Sitecore CMS with special features including Sitecore's Online Marketing Suite, index viewer module, reporter module, Lucene and NHibernate.
