Similar to a previous requests (re: Pershing, Fidelity, RBC and COR - answered perfectly), Hilltop Securities (previously, Southwest Securities) serves as the clearing firm for 100+ broker-dealers. I would like to get a list of firms that this clearing firm clears for. It is not likely to be on any public website, but probably buried in some regulatory filings.
We have identified 64 firms that Hilltop Securities (previously, Southwest Securities) clears for. Each firm identified have been listed alphabetically in the attached spreadsheet to ascertain that no duplicate entry has been made. In addition, for each of the firms identified, we have included details about the names of the firms, country of origin or headquarters, and relevant links from which the aforementioned details were identified. Below is a brief overview of our findings.
FINDINGS
In 2016, Hilltop Holdings completed the merger of FirstSouthwest and Southwest Securities. The merger resulted in the dissolution of the two aforementioned firms and the creation of a new clearing services firm Hilltop Securities. Thus, to build a comprehensive list of firms that Hilltop Securities clears for, we searched for combinations of Hilltop Securities or Southwest Securities or FirstSouthwest Securities and clearing or business continuity plan. This strategy yielded 64 firms.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, there were 64 firms identified to be using the clearing services of Hilltop Securities. These firms were listed alphabetically in the attached spreadsheet together with other details that are relevant for this research.
