Research Strategy

To find examples of servos that can meet the required specifications, we looked through reputable sources such as the website, product pages, and product brochures of popular manufacturers and distributors of servo motors such as Siemens, Sanyo, SAE, Crouzet, EBM, Schneider Electric, H2W Technologies, Ibex Engineering, SunSource, Nidec, Aerotech, and other similar companies. Based on this search approach, we were not able to find servos that possess all the attributes mentioned. We found many types of servos but the products only possess a few of the attributes mentioned. Most of the servos found that have high torques weigh more than 2.5 lbs.

We also looked through various industrial supplier directories such as Thomasnet, RS Online, Alibaba, Direct Industry, and other similar sites. We used the filters on those sites to find the servos that have the requested specifications. We then found many examples of servos but there were very few that met most of the specifications. We were not able to find servos that possess all the indicated specifications.

We also looked through engineering publications, aerospace websites, industrial websites, and other similar sites to obtain articles or reports that may describe some of the servo products used in the industry but we only found some general specifications. We were not abble to find specific details that can lead us to the right type of servos.
Based on our research results, we presented those servos that closely match the given specifications.
