THE PROS AND CONS OF USING A REAL ESTATE SOFTWARE BY REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS

PROS

1. ENABLES COMPLETE INTEGRATION

Most real estate professionals work on different platforms like websites, direct contacts, social media, online advertisements, farming and many more. The combined information from these different sources makes life better for the business.

2. PROVIDES REPORT GENERATION

The software provides access and ability to produce daily, monthly or yearly reports that enable review of work to analyze what has worked efficiently and what needs to be changed in the future. These reports are also used to provide feedback on the strategies that were used and lets the real estate professional know how effective the medium of advertisement or communication was.

3. THE INTERFACE IS USER FRIENDLY

The software makes it easy for the real estate professional to search for the desired information on one software. Within a short time, one can go from editing vendor details to entering payment and so on. The members of staff can smoothly process the real estate move-ins and move-outs, and it also offers tools that real estate professionals need for their daily accounting.

4. MOBILITY FRIENDLY

The platform provides mobile solutions and applications that allow the real estate professional to track leases, process applications, communicate with clients and vendors, and execute other tasks while they are on the go.

CONS

1. SOME FEATURES ARE COMPLEX

Due to many functionalities of the system, it takes a lot of time for one to learn and get comfortable working with it. For the new users on the admin side especially the budgeting and forecast modules, it is difficult to learn.

2. CHALLENGES ARE ENCOUNTERED WHEN ONE CORRECTS AND CHANGES INFORMATION

The software seems to have almost all the functions needed, but there are challenges encountered when correcting or changing information. This is a very outdated method, and the recovery module is not as user-friendly as the rest of other software modules.

3. THERE IS DIFFICULTY IN CLOSING WORK ORDERS

The customer service takes a long time to resolve any issues and also closing work orders is monotonous, tedious, and time-consuming.

4. CUSTOMIZATION IS COSTLY

Customizing the software to suit one's need is costly, and there is a need to assist current customers more in providing reasonably priced modifications.
