Provide a list of the top 10 largest (by revenue) 3rd party contractor firms globally - firms who hire people and staff those people with clients. I'm especially interested in firms who work with Professional Services / Management Consulting firms.
Hello! Thank you for your research request to find the top 10 largest third party contractor firms globally in terms of revenue. The most useful sources I found to answer your question were Owler and Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). The short version is I found the top 10 firms by revenue, but I was not able to determine which professional service/management consulting firms they may work with. Below you will find a deep dive into my findings.
I conducted advanced Internet searches using a variety of key words and query types. I sifted through information from trusted media sites, industry reports and company websites and annual reports. I confined the results to within the last of 2 years unless otherwise noted and kept a global scope. To determine the top firms, I used the revenue data in Owler, and corroborated the information using "top" lists and data from Staffing Industry Analysts and Better Team. For additional details on the companies, I consulted the company websites and the websites On Contracting and/or GlassDoor.
I summarized the information in this Google spreadsheet. For comparison, I added the firm 24 Seven Talent to the list, which was mentioned in the request.
The main component of this request was to find the top 10 firms by revenue, which was done. Secondly, preference was given for firms that do business with professional service/management consulting firms (e.g. Bain & Co., Accenture, McKinsey, BCG). After extensive searching, I was only able to find basic client information from sources like On Contracting. I even searched company annual reports such as this one from Adecco, but they did not divulge client names. If this additional information exists, new Wonder requests could be submitted, and the Analyst could drill down on each of the firms and conduct more research, to see if it can be teased out in other ways.
