Provide me a list of connected air purifiers manufactures
Hello! Thank you for your question in regards to building a list of connected air purifiers. Popular connected air purifier manufacturers include: Blueair, Coway, Crane, Dyson, Germ Guardian, Heaven, Holmes, Honeywell, Phillips, Winix, and Xiaomi. Please read more below for a deeper dive into my findings.
METHODOLOGY
I used a few different search methods to find a list of connected air purifiers and found that many call themselves "smart" when referring to automatically adjusting settings within the device. I first searched for a general list of connected devices that used either Bluetooth or WiFi to connect to an app. I used multiple websites to search consumer products and came up with a general list that I then arranged by manufacturer. Once I had a list I visited each website and found all of the products that connected to an app. I used websites including Amazon, UPCitemdb and Indix as well as a general Google search for connected or smart air purifiers. Within these search results I had to narrow down which air purifiers where truly smart devices. Each section below links to more information about the models listed.
While it may seem like there should be a lot more results, many air purifier manufacturers use the term "smart" in a different context. These air purifiers are more about automation than connecting to other devices or apps. I was able to come up with a little over twenty air purifiers which have been broken down into eleven manufacturers. Based on my search and what companies are deeming as "smart" devices the results are greatly narrowed. The following is the list of air purifiers that I was able to compile.
AIR PURIFIER MANUFACTURERS
Blueair created the Blueair Friend app to allow users to connect to their air purifiers to monitor outdoor and indoor air quality, control functions, including on/off, speed, light, child lock and night mode. It also gathers data. Blueair offers six WiFi enabled devices including:

Airmega provides an app that allows you to monitor the air quality, see the status of filters, set a timer, receive real-time outdoor air quality updates, and activate it remotely. Airmega has two wifi enabled models which include: Airmega 300S Air Purifier and
Airmega 400S Air Purifier.
The Crane SmartAIR Purifier is a Wi-Fi compatible air purifier that is controlled with a combination of WiFi and Crane’s free Mobile App.
Dyson offers two models that both come in silver and blue, these models are the Dyson Pure Hot Cool Link Air Purifier and the Dyson Pure Cool Link Air Purifier. Dyson links their air purifier to an app via WiFi. The app can monitor air quality, run in auto mode, act like a remote control and provide detailed reports.
Germ Guardian offers the 4 in 1 CDAP4500BCA WiFi Air Cleaning System with SmartAQM Air Quality Monitor, True HEPA Filter, UV-C Sanitizer and Odor Reduction Air Purifier. They offer an accompanying smart app that lets you monitor air quality, detects the particles in the air and automatically adjusts accordingly. The app also tells you when to replace the bulb or filter.
HEAVEN
Heaven offers two WiFi enabled air purifiers which include the Heaven Fresh HF480 Multiple Technologies Smart WiFi Air Purifier and the Heaven Fresh HF810 Multiple Technologies Smart WiFi Air Purifier. The app allows you to control and monitor your device, setup communications with other smart home devices, and get filter alerts.
Holmes Smart Air Purifier with WeMo allows you to stay in control of the air quality in your home. The WeMo app lets you adjust the settings, get alerts and set a daily schedule.
Honeywell Bluetooth Air Purifier is compatible with both iPhone or Android devices which can be used as a remote control through Bluetooth from up to 30 feet away. The app has additional features that include proximity sensing, air quality alerts, and auto-operations based on air quality.
Phillips offers two WiFi enabled air purifiers, the Philips Air Purifier 1000i and the Philips Air Purifier 2000i. Both are connected to an app that lets you see indoor and outdoor air quality, gives allergen advice and lets you control the purifier anytime from anywhere.
Winix has three WiFi enabled air purifiers which includes: Winix HR1000 5-Stage WiFi Enabled Air Cleaner, Winix NK105 Wifi Enabled Truehepa Tower Air Purifier, and Winix T1 WiFi Enabled Professional Air Purifier. The app provides updates, includes a timer and allows control from anywhere.
Mi Air Purifier 2 uses your phone as a remote to turn the device on or off and to switch between modes. The Mi Home app allows you to monitor air quality, create a schedule and more.
CONCLUSION
While a lot of air purifiers refer to themselves as "smart", they do not act the same as other smart home or connected devices because they do not connect to any other devices or apps. I've provided a list of truly smart devices that connect to an app via either WiFi or Bluetooth.
