The top 25 insurance companies in Europe, based on revenue, are AXA, Allianz, Legal and General, Generali, Prudential, Aviva, Zurich Insurance, Aegon, Munich Re, CNP Assurances, Swiss Re, Talanx AG, Chubb Ltd., MAPFRE, Old Mutual, Swiss Life, Unipol Gruppo, Hannover Re, NN Group NV, Groupama, Vienna Insurance, Helvetia, Phoenix Group, Baloise Group, and Storebrand. A list of top insurance companies was found and then cross-referenced with other lists to make sure that these were indeed top companies. Each company has been entered in order from most to the least revenue in the insurance company tab of this spreadsheet. You will also find a list of the companies below.
