METHODOLOGY
For the purpose of this research, I looked for thriving co-living spaces on a global scale, focusing on spaces in the London area. The largest co-living spaces were determined by community size and other factors like media coverage. I also incorporated the spaces you mentioned (The Collective, WeLive, Common, Capital Living) into the list to see where they fit with the rest of the entries. Prodigy Living was not included because their accommodations are exclusively available to full-time students. In addition to the in-depth descriptions below, this information was formatted in a spreadsheet to quickly compare and contrast various features for your convenience.

THE COLLECTIVE
This London-based concept has a community of more than 500 people with one of the "largest coliving building" in the city. This may be the city's most well-known coliving and coworking spaces, as they have been featured in a variety of publications including Fast Company, Wired, BBC, The Telegraph, Forbes, The Sunday Times and Financial Times, according to their website. They offer ensuites, studios and one-bedroom apartments in Acton, Hyde Park, Kentish Town, King's Cross and Notting Hill ranging from £195 - £390 per week. WELIVE

COMMON
With coliving spaces in New York City, D.C. and San Francisco, Common has a community of over 120 members. Studios, one-bedroom and shared room spaces are fully furnished and range from $1,340 per month to $3,365 per month with utilities included and "no extra fees." Common encourages a collective atmosphere and hosts weekly/monthly community events like movie nights and potlucks. According to their website, this coliving space has been mentioned in The New Yorker, TechCrunch, Business Insider, CNN, Gizmodo, Fast Company, The New York Times, Bedford + Bowery and U.S. News & World Report.

CAPITAL LIVING
South West London's Capital Living provides over 275 rooms to their carefully selected coliving community of co-ed young professionals. "Socials" are hosted every six weekly to promote community living with activities like mini golf and wine tasting. Rooms range from £139 to £309 per week and are cleaned weekly.

ROAM
Roam is a global resource that offers coworking and coliving spaces in London, as well as other various locations in Miami, Madrid, Bali, Tokyo and San Francisco. The London building has 34 units with private bathrooms and offers community features like a 20-seat coworking space, reading rooms, meeting rooms and a media/movie lounge. Prices for units in this location start at $850 per week with flexible pay as you go options.

LHA LONDON
Initially created to solve homelessness, the London Hostels Association Ltd (LHA) now primarily houses nearly 2000 people comprised of students, young and single working people or London newcomers looking to make friends in a new city. Their 13 sites offer varying room accommodations (single rooms, ensuites, shared rooms and studios ranging from $187 for a single room to $274 for a studio. Shared amenities for the sites include several features like a gym, study room, game room and roof garden.

PLP ARCHITECTURE
This building firm is currently teaming up with The Collective to develop a skyscraper with 214 private apartments and 223 coliving units that share amenities like kitchens, bathrooms and community spaces. Additional features are geared toward creatives and include a stage, quiet room, drawing room, exhibition space, cinema, game room, library, garden, spa, "disco laundrette" and gym. Prices are undisclosed, but described as "genuinely affordable" to younger working Londoners.


THE TRAMPERY
The Trampery already owns coworking spaces and is set to offer coliving spaces in 2018. Their London residences accomodate a variety of creative entrepreneurs, including families, with their full-sized multi-bedroom apartments. One, two, three or four bedroom apartments are offered, as well as shared apartments. Coworking spaces, cafes/restaurants, a recreational center and on-site workshops, socials and talks from "creative industry figures" are planned for the site. Prices are not listed.

FISH ISLAND VILLAGE
In partnership with Peabody, The Trampery is working to create Fish Island Village. This Hackney, London-based site is set to be a 5,300-square-meter coliving and coworking community for creative professionals. The Trampery will account for 4,500 square meters of this upcoming development, which has a projected 2018 completion. A £7.3 million investment was made toward this project and it is expected to create 580 new homes and 500 jobs in the creative/technology sector.

NEW GROUND
New Ground is Britain's first housing complex is the first coliving space for older residents. Currently, residents range from 50 to 87 years old and occupy the 25 North London apartments. One third of the development is dedicated to coliving. Though the units are private, shared amenities include a common house with a kitchen, dining and meeting rooms and residents have access to a community garden and craft center. Prices are not listed.
