Please create a list of events where we could announce this challenge at in April 2018

We searched for United States-based aerospace and rocketry events as well as technology/innovation events where students are likely to be present. We were able to find six conferences held in the U.S. in April 2018 that students are likely to attend.

UNITED STATES-based Technology and Aerospace Events in April 2018

1. Stage-Gate Innovation Summit
This conference will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 3-5, 2018. In the informational material about the State-Gate Innovation Summit it states that "the conference is organized for researchers, developers, students, and marketers to gain knowledge related to innovation and technology." We included this conference because the organizers assume that students will register and attend it, and the conference is also focused on the field of technology.

2. AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2018
This conference will be held in Denver, Colorado from April 30-May 3, 2018. The AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2018 conference offers an event focused on cutting edge innovation and the unmanned technology industry. This conference also bills itself as an "educational program" brimming with opportunities for intelligent students, hence its inclusion in this list. Please note that while this conference begins in April, it ends in May.

3. Central Florida Innovation Convention
This one-day conference will be held in Orlando, Florida on April 5, 2018. The Innovation Convention will highlight "leadership practices in the IT & technology industry" and will also "showcase products like senior information technology executives from various local private and public industry organizations, government agencies, and universities, technology, business." Our reasoning for including this conference is that universities have been invited to present at the conference, so we can assume that students will also attend.

4. GOTO Chicago 2018
GOTO is a software developer conference that will be held in Chicago, Illinois on April 26-27, 2018. This conference states that it will "highlight the technologies, methodologies and skills you need to know today to build systems of the future." Attendees will have opportunities to "learn about new trends, connect with industry experts, share their passion, and grow their skills." We included this conference because it is focused on forward-thinking technology, making it a good fit for students interested in rocketry.

5. Collision
This technology conference will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana from April 30-May 3, 2018. Collision is billed as "America's fastest growing tech conference." It will feature hundreds of leaders in the technology industry as well as CEOs, investors, and the media. Since this is a major technology conference we included it in this list, as it is focused on cutting-edge technology that is likely to interest the relevant student segment. Please note that while this conference begins in April, it ends in May.

6. 5th International Conference on Automation and Robotics
This conference will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 16-17, 2018. Automation and robotics is a leading segment of the technology industry and this conference aims to "share new ideas amongst the professionals, industrialists and students from [the] research area of automation and robotics", allowing these individuals "to share their research experiences and indulge in interactive discussions at the event." The aerospace industry includes some of the most demanding robotic applications today and the assumption can be made that students who are interested in this field and its applications would attend this conference, hence why this event is included in this list.

Conclusion

These six events are going to be held in the U.S. in April 2018. All of these conferences are focused on the fields of aerospace and robotics and/or technology and innovation. Some of these conferences specifically highlight how they have invited universities to attend and present, while others bill themselves as educational events, therefore student attendance is anticipated. For these reasons we have included these six conferences in this list.
