The data by year and by social media platform from the previously completed research on physicians' use of social media has been entered in the attached spreadsheet.
Findings
- Comparative information on physicians' use of social media across various platforms and years was hard to come by.
- Consequently, N/A has been entered in the respective cells for information that could not be found.
- Based on the 2020 HCP Communications Survey across the US, the UK, France, Germany, China, and Japan, 46% of the health care professionals (HCP) surveyed pre-COVID used social media for professional purposes.
- According to the survey, this percentage usage (46%) among HCPs indicates a 33% increase from 2019.
