Research Strategy

To find reviews for Quantum Workplace, we looked on various software review sites such as G2, Capterra, and TrustRadius. We found the majority of reviews on G2 and Capterra. We tried to find the most recent reviews, but discovered that even after checking multiple other survey sites, there were only a handful of reviews in 2018 and 2019. The rest were from 2017 or earlier, or were behind paywalls. We decided to include the most recent ones that we could find that contained detailed feedback, even if they were older than two years. We also ensured that the reviews contained opinions on the actual product and its features, and not just the customer service.

Research Strategy:

Since we the used G2 and Getapp websites which were already used by the previous analyst. To be able to make sure that we were not having duplicates, we have used the date of reviews as filter and have checked the content of the excerpts and make sure that they do not match.

G2 also have a filtering tool so we have filtered the reviews using the performance management category.

In our key findings, we have decided to put the name of the reviewer if available, the review date, and the review title for easy referencing from the sources.

Everything else was straightforward.

We have looked into Capterra and found out that they display reviews the same as the reviews found in GetApp. For our deep dive in tech.co, there were no result for Saba or Halogen after our x-ray search.

To be able to address 40 reviews, we need to broaden our search and consider reviews from 2016. Since we are using the same websites as that of the previous analyst, we have limited reviews to consider. Recent reviews left are not focused on the product itself and some are not tackling the performance management space. Most reviews are geared towards customer service. Because of these we needed to expand our search and consider reviews from 2016 to address the research criteria.

To summarize, we have added 40 reviews from years 2016 -2019 from the websites G2 and GetApp and have inputted them on the spreadsheet. We have also added here the reasons for expanding our search to address the reviewer's feedback.
