However, some news articles and press releases on innovative testing solutions for COVID-19 were published on Becton Dickinison and have been provided below.

Research Strategy

After a thorough search, we were only able to find one news article/press release in the past month regarding automation or software for medication management in pharmacies of Becton Dickinson. We scoured through each company's news and press releases section of their website. The most recent news item for Swisslog is about not participating in the LogiMAT on March 10-12 2020. Arxium's most recent news articles are about its partnership with Stäubli "to enhance the effectiveness of pharmacy operations by improving the safety and accuracy of IV admixture compounding" and its RIVA systems, published in January 2020 and December 2019, respectively.

We also searched for news articles and press releases through third-parties such as Crunchbase and PR Newswire. We could not find any relevant articles for the remaining three companies for the given time frame through this strategy either. There are no recent news and activity on Arxium's Crunchbase profile.

As a last resort, we searched through the companies' social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, but there were no links to any news articles or press releases on the given topics in the past month.

Research Strategy

We started by scouring the websites of McKesson, Cardinal Health, Cerner, and Epic for relevant press releases and presentations. (EPIC Willow is a solution offered by EPIC.) We even checked these companies’ social media posts in the past month. These initial steps did not produce any recently published information about medication management software or automation, however, so we switched to examining media and news outlets’ coverage of these companies. This change in strategy enabled us to find only four news articles that contain information about medication management solutions for pharmacies. One article mentioned McKesson’s research and Micro Merchant System’s PrimeRx, while three articles covered EPIC and its partnership with various technology providers.
