New Events for Teenagers: Los Angeles
A few examples of new events for teenagers this summer in the Los Angeles area include St. Paul's Summer HOOPS Camp Session I — Boys, Crossroads Christian School Soccer Camp, and Target: Cancer a Charity Archery Tournament. A comprehensive list of ten events is included below, along with a research methodology.
METHODOLOGY
We began by examining top events intelligence vendors such as Eventbrite along with other events databases, including LA County Library, Discover Los Angeles, and L.A. Parent. These sources provided several events scheduled for the months of June through July. We examined each source and found out that Los Angeles parent lists events focused on family activities, Discover Los Angeles primarily lists festivals and concerts, and LA County Library focuses on academic-related events and study programs, and Eventbrite features comprehensive lists of events and filters that allow users to search based on location, demographics, category, i.e., sports, retreat, travel, etc.
Eventbrite also provided a review of past events, which allowed us to examine whether the upcoming events were held in the past. In this regard, we proceeded to examine events listed on Eventbrite by filtering based on location, demographics, time, and category (sports and fitness and health and well-being). We also ensured that the events selected are happening in (June through August) and in the Los Angeles area. Through this approach, we managed to create the list of ten new events for teenagers this summer in the Los Angeles area as presented below.
