The short version is that the market value of curative and rehabilitative care in the European Union is 816.218 Billion EUR. Below you will find a deep dive of my findings. 

METHODOLOGY

For collecting the data, I used publications by the World Confederation of Physical Therapy, Office for National Statistics UK and Eurostat. These publications provided data regarding the number of physiotherapists in the European Union and the healthcare expenditure on curative and rehabilitative care. The latest data is from 2014 which was released in the May of 2016.

I calculated the market value of curative and rehabilitative care by multiplying the total expenditure on healthcare in each country in the European Union with the percentage of expenditure spent on curative and rehabilitative care. Then I added them up to find the total market value of curative and rehabilitative care in the European Union. I have also specifically mentioned the data regarding UK and Germany.

Unfortunately, even after searching through academic databases, government reports/databases, and industry reports, I could not find the number of physical rehabilitation centers in Europe or even in the UK specifically, although I did find the number of them in Germany.  I did, however, find the number of practicing physiotherapists.
