Family owned business-to-consumer mid-sized UK based businesses that operate within the banking, industrials, pharmaceuticals and FMCG sectors are Day Lewis Pharmacy, Sushi Daily, The William Jackson Food Group, Acorn Stairlifts, Caffè Nero, Qualasept (QPHL), and Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate. We found these organizations by reviewing company profiles, business databases (like Fast Track) and LinkedIn profiles. However, using the above strategy we found only five UK companies that were family owned, sold directly to their customers, were within the preferred sectors and had annual sales of £200-500 million. Consequently, we expanded our scope to include those that had slighly less annual sales than £200 million. Below is a deep dive on the identified seven companies.
