Our research team has completed rows 3-7, columns D-E in the RFPs Tab of the attached spreadsheet. Florida currently has contracts with UnitedHealthCare, Aetna's Coventry Health Care of Florida, and Florida Community Care, among others. California currently has contracts with Partnership Health Plan of CA, San Francisco Health Plan, and Anthem Blue Cross, among others. Texas currently has contracts with Driscoll Children’s Health Plan, Texas Children’s Health Plan, and Molina Healthcare of Texas, among others. In Florida, the RFPs are issued every 5 years, and the length of the contract is 5 years. A detailed summary is in the next section.

FLORIDA

  • The projected date for the next RFP to be issued in Florida will be 06/14/2022. The RFPs are issued every 5 years, and the length of the contract is 5 years. The most recent contract awardees are Humana, UnitedHealthCare , Aetna's Coventry Health Care of Florida, Florida Community Care, Horizon Health Plan, Simply Healthcare Plans , South Florida Community Care Network, Sunshine State Health Plan, WellCare of Florida, Molina Health Care, and Prestige Health Choice.

CALIFORNIA

  • The date for the next RFP to be issued in California will be in January 2020. The most recent contract(s) were awarded to Santa Clara Family Health Plan, CalOptima, CenCal, Central California Alliance for Health, Gold Coast Health Plan, Health Plan of San Mateo, Partnership Health Plan of CA, San Francisco Health Plan, Anthem Blue Cross, Care 1st Health Plan, Community Health Group, Health Net, Kaiser Permanente, Molina Healthcare, Alameda Alliance for Health, CalViva Health, Contra Costa Health Plan, Health Net, Health Plan of San Joaquin, Inland Empire Health Plan, Kern Family Health, and LA Care.

The requested MCO Medicaid information for Missouri State, Massachusetts, Tennessee, New York, and Virginia has been entered into the attached spreadsheet. Missouri State, Tennessee, and New York currently have contracts with United Healthcare.
