Marketing & Promotional Activities in the Middle East [Rows 2 & 3]
After reviewing credible sources, we were able to determine the total number of original articles that BCG and McKinsey have published about the Middle East in the last five years, along with the number of events each has organized/sponsored in the region. According to our research, McKinsey has published 11 articles on the area, while BCG has issued only three. Meanwhile, McKinsey has organized/sponsored only one event in the Middle East in the last five years, and BCG has organized/sponsored three. On the attached spreadsheet, our findings are available in columns C through D of columns two through three.
METHODOLOGY
We began our research by searching for events and articles involving BCG and McKinsey on their official websites. While on the sites, we examined the events page of each company. Since the pages did not feature a filter option, we had to search through the events manually to identify those involving the Middle East. We also utilized the search option to locate relevant publications and events. Moreover, we explored white papers, available reports, and other pages to cover the complete website. With this research strategy, we discovered most of the requested information. We were able to find one event sponsored by McKinsey in the region and three for BCG.
Next, we examined company publications published from 2014 to the present to confirm that we had unearthed all the appropriate events and articles. Afterward, we searched through the companies' social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter to find more information. Nonetheless, we could not locate additional relevant data after reviewing posts from 2014 to the present. Significant events and articles specific to Dubai and Saudi Arabia have been included in this brief as requested. In regard to McKinsey, we provided details for the EDAD event as it was the sole conference we came across that was organized/sponsored by the company in the Middle East.
