Hello! Thanks for asking Wonder to provide information regarding Romcab's competitors. The short answer is that Romcab's main competitors on the Romanian market are ICME ECAB, Prysmian, Iproeb and Coficab Eastern Europe.
Below is an explanation of the methodology used to determine the company's top competitors, as well as a link to a spreadsheet with a detailed competitive analysis of three of the most important competitors, based on products, geography and customer base.
METHODOLOGY
For this request I first started with Romcab's website and their latest Annual Report, submitted in April 2016, where I found information regarding company's main activity, products, target market, market share, and also a list of company's main competitors, according to their own market analysis.
Next, I provided a detailed competitive landscape of the top three competitors, including information regarding their products, target market, customer base, competitive advantage. To find this information I focused primarily on companies' websites, annual reports, and media coverage.
Some of the information required to fully complete the request was only available in Romanian language, but since I happen to be fluent in Romanian, I decided to use Romanian sources as well (where English sources were unavailable).
BACKGROUND
Romcab is a Romanian manufacturer of cables, electrical wiring, electric conductors and power cords. In 2015, 56.81% of their sales were domestic, on the Romanian market, while 43.19% sales were export-oriented, the biggest foreign markets being Poland, Austria and Germany. They also exported their products to Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, UK, Czech Republic and Slovenia.

Romcab has a 0.68% share of the global market, where the leading players are Prysmian, Nexans and General Cable.
In the Annual Report of one of Romcab's main domestic competitors, IPROEB, is stated that the main players in the Romanian electric cables market are:

○ S.C. PRYSMIAN S.A. with a market share of about 20%
○ S.C. ROMCAB S.A. with a market share of about 20%
○ S.C. ELECTROPLAST S.A. with a market share of about 10%
○ S.C. RCB ELECTRO “97 S.A. with a market share of about 10%
Since there is not enough information regarding Coficab Eastern Europe available, and it wasn't included in IPROEB's competitor's list, I excluded this company from the competitive analysis report. I also didn't include in the analysis the large global players like Nexans and General Cable, as they don't have an important Romanian market share. Thus, the three companies, besides Romcab, for which I provided a detailed competitive analysis are ICME ECAB, Prysmian and IPROEB.
CONCLUSION
I have compiled a spreadsheet providing a detailed competitive analysis, including company overview, competitive advantage, main products, target markets and customer base for Romcab, as well as for its top three competitors on the local Romanian market: ICME ECAB (a subsidiary of Cablel Hellenic Cables Group), Prysmian (a subsidiary of Prysmian Group) and IPROEB SA Bistrita.
