RESEARCH STRATEGY
We started our research by a general web scan for candidates from the San Francisco Bay Area that meet the required education, experience, and skills criteria. However, we were unable to locate candidates that meet all the requirements particularly the skills requirements. We then turned to recruitment and candidates' profile sites like Recruitin.net, Recruiter.com, LinkedIn, and Indeed, among others to find candidates with the required qualification, education, and skill set by scouring through the profiles of dozens of candidates. While we were able to locate three potential candidates who have a Bachelors' degree from a reputable undergraduate program, have worked on any of the given roles, and have a 2-3 years of marketing, event planning, internal communications, and/or other relevant work experience at a SaaS startup, accelerator or venture fund and the required skills, we couldn't determine whether the other four including Priya Gupta, EmilyFang, Kimberly Weymer, and Evan Cranston are also familiar with the required software/program. This is because most candidates do not mention every software and program they are familiar with on their LinkedIn profiles. However, we selected these four candidates due to their marketing, event planning, and internal communications skills, their huge online presence i.e., blog or content for the current or past company, their email marketing and campaigning skills, and their content creation and design skills.
