When conducting this study, the research team looked primarily at the official company websites of PWC, McKinsey Consulting, Bain and Company and Maritzcx. We also looked at market research channels such as Crunchbase and Craft as well as the consultation website, Consulting to obtain the top players within the customer experience consulting sphere.

Regarding the pricing information, though we looked at various sources, we could not obtain the information requested. For all the companies listed, we looked at Analytic data companies such as Capterra, the G2Crowd and Trust Pilot but the information was not listed. The website stated that these companies do not provide their pricing information publicly, and will have to be contacted on their website in order to obtain pricing details.

The research team also looked at Statista, Crunchbase and Entrepreneur, but did not find the pertinent details sought for. The websites provided details on each company and the services they offered as well as employee counts rather than pricing information. This could be because the company provides these details to potential clients only and will not specify their pricing information to the public.

Another avenue we looked at was business news outlets such as Bloomberg, Forbes and Business Insider. There was information on the companies profile and their business efforts, but no specific details on pricing information. The research team provided instead, the methods potential clients need to take in order to receive pricing details on each of the consulting providers’ websites.

Accenture, Centric Consulting, Prophet, and Walker Information are four major customer experience consulting firms in the Midwestern part of the US.

RESEARCH STRATEGY

We began our research by doing a general search for CX consulting companies in the Midwest and found some companies which had offices in that region. We then cross-referenced them with the companies identified in the previous report to ensure that there were no repetitions. After identifying four such companies, we proceeded to fulfill the requested details. We were unable to find official company reports stating the revenues of three of the companies. As such, we resorted to using the record provided by a third-party site, Crunchbase. We found the 2016 revenue for Centric Consulting from Inc. but used Crunchbase's estimate to ensure uniformity with the revenue estimate for Walker Information and Prophet. We leveraged company reports and the LinkedIn databases of the companies to provide the number of employees.

All four companies did not provide any information regarding their product pricing. Instead, they provided contact forms with which to contact them directly for such information. As such, we have provided links to the same. Regardless, we researched data analytics companies such as Capterra, the G2Crowd, and Trust Pilot to obtain the product pricing. We also checked business media outlets such as Business Insider to see if any information regarding the pricing of the solutions for any of the requested companies might be documented. However, this information was unavailable. As such, we concluded that the companies did not wish to disclose the pricing of their products and would only provide such information upon direct contact with them. We ranked the companies by revenue.
