We also scoured through industry reports that covered the best parental control apps. Some of the reports include Digitaltrends, Tomsguide, and PC Magazine. Based on our findings, we have selected parental control apps that not only offer similar features to that of Jiminy but are priced within the same price range.

Using the data collated through this approach, we were able to provide an overview of the user audience and the press mentions. To provide data on the success or failure indicators of the app, we relied on a guide by Android pub which provided insights on metrics that are used to measure the success or failures of a mobile app. Using these insights, we were able to identify data on the app's success or failure indicators.
