Israeli Blockchain Ecosystem - Part 2

The total capital raised and the description of the companies listed in rows 2-33 has been provided in columns H and I of the attached spreadsheet. The activity type and the location on the Bitcoin spectrum has been inferred by looking through the websites of the companies and the identified descriptions.
  • In addition to the provided Bitcoin spectrum locations (Bitcoin only, non-Bitcoin cryptocurrencies, non-coin public blockchain and non-coin private blockchain), one other category has been identified, the "non-blockchain (services)" category.
  • Non-blockchain (services) has been used for companies like over-the-counter (OTC) exchanges that do not have their own blockchain, but instead provide services to other companies and individuals in the blockchain space.
  • Out of the analyzed companies most are non-Bitcoin cryptocurrencies.
  • Three of the analyzed companies, Carats, Cedex, and Banx.one deal are in the business of asset tokenization — creating tokens that are fully backed by real-world, physical assets.
