RESEARCH STRATEGY

To provide information on how Twitter, Coca Cola, and Disney are using multimedia and social platforms to communicate about the company's financial performance, the research team commenced with a search on the official websites of each of the company. We found that they all publish their annual reports on their respective websites. Next, we searched for the official social media pages of each company on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram platforms. While we found that these companies all have an official page on social media, they only communicate general information, products, and upcoming events on these platforms. Furthermore, we determined the publication dates of the most recent annual reports from their website and back-tracked their social media pages beyond the publication dates of their respective annual report. However, there was no mention or referral link of their financial performance on their social media pages even after tracking back to beyond 24 months on each company's social platform. As such, we can confirm that Twitter, Coca Cola, and Disney do not publish information related to their financial performances on their social media pages.
