Interior Design Software Competitors

A detailed competitive analysis of 3D.io, Flatspace, Home by Me, and Rooomy has been provided in this spreadsheet. A brief overview of our findings can be found below. We were unable to determine a consistent measurement of size across the four companies. Revenues were not available for any of them as they are private companies and do not publish their financial information. We were also unable to find revenues using any kind of database. Number of clients was also not consistently available. Some companies listed a few clients or partners, but did not indicate a total number, and others did not publish their client lists at all. Since we were unable to find a consistent size measurement for these companies, we have provided any available indication of size for each company such as well-known clients, well-known partners, or number of products sold.

3D.io

3D.io is a company that creates 3D home plans, virtual tours that are compatible with VR/AR software, and virtual interior design services. They have a unique pricing scale that has a free limited version, a monthly subscription, and an entire menu of A la Carte options for businesses who just want to pick and choose what they purchase.

Flatspace

Flatspace offers a "one click" service that converts 2D floor plans to 3D virtual scenes using technology such as object detection and semantic segmentation tasks. Their services are all web-based and are set up for clients to convert and create their own tours. They do not mention any prices on their website and it appears one must set up a consultation or contact them to find out pricing options.

Home By Me

Home By Me targets mainly interior designers. They create 3D virtual models of rooms from 2D pictures and have a large catalog of products to decorate them with. They also have the option to upload custom objects. The rooms have virtual reality compatibility and the program is fully web-based. The program does have options for clients to upload and create their own scenes, but they also offer a team of designers that will do all the work for a fee. Pricing is broken into an A la Carte menu, a $29.99 monthly subscription, or a $299.99 yearly subscription.

Rooomy

Rooomy has three main targets: real estate agents, interior designers, and home furnishings retailers. They offer 3D and VR/AR home tours for real estate companies, a detailed interior design program that is available on desktops as well as mobile applications so clients can bring designs right to their own clients, and a program for retailers that creates interactive scenes using 3D models of the retailers' actual products. Their pricing is a bit more expensive than the others and they have three tiers of packages, starting at $415.00.

In conclusion, a detailed competitive landscape of each company can be found in this spreadsheet.
