Research Strategy

To identify the top five influencers writing about supply chain, factories, and/or global manufacturing, your research team searched for a list of industry experts that are active on social media. We found a pre-compiled list of influencers that write about supply chain, and also found a host of experts that are speakers at the global manufacturing and supply chain conference & exhibition. From these lists, we identified the number of social media followers each influencer has. For consistency, we have ranked these influencers based on the number of followers they have on their most active social platform. We then proceeded to provide more details on these individuals as requested.

To identify recent publications made by each influencer related to supply chain and manufacturing with in the past 12 months, we searched through public media sources, LinkedIn, and company websites. While we could find articles published by these influencers, Dave Meyer and Steve Brad have not made any publication related to supply chain or global manufacturing with in the past 12 months. However, we have included them on the bases that they have been identified as influencers and have made publications related to supply chain and global manufacturing, although beyond 12 months. Hence, we have entered N/A on the corresponding cell on the attached spreadsheet.
