CONSULTANTS

Much of my research on the subject pointed towards the use of consultancy groups/ agents as the primary way for breaking into GSA Contract sales. These consultants do not perform sales functions themselves, but can offer a variety of services to help secure contract business. Most consultants focus on the GSA approval process, however, I have found some who offer services that could be beneficial in your case.

The Gormley Group- They are focused specifically on GSA and VA contracts, and offer sales and marketing support and training for new contract holders.

GSA Schedule Consultants- Established in 1986, this group offers consulting on (among other topics) pricing, contract negotiations and compliance assessments.

GSA Scheduler- This group seems to have more robust services in place for companies that have already acquired a GSA contract and are looking to parlay it into sales. They have consultants available at an hourly rate to help with compiling buyer lists and reviewing pricing, and bid-writing services.

The Coalition for Government Procurement- A working group that keeps members apprised of regulatory changes, upcoming hearings and provides weekly updates for all government category contracts. Their membership includes the largest government contractors and they boast that 70% of all GSA work is awarded to their members.

Small Business Association- The SBA has Commercial Marketing Representatives to assist match small businesses with larger companies looking to subcontract parts of a project.

In conclusion, thank you again for using Wonder. We hope that you'll come to us in the future with any research requests you might have and we wish you luck with
