METHODOLOGY

We started research with a thorough probe the websites of Freddie Mac and its partners. This search yielded much-needed information immediately and we leveraged this wealth of information to dig out more information on the more specific partner companies that we were interested in. Although we got a lot of directly and indirectly related information on the partners from the company's website, we still had to get a majority of the partners' information from elsewhere i.e. partner websites, third-party blogs, article, and news websites.
We also found some relevant information on publicly available paid databases and websites that either required subscription payment, registration or membership so as to be able to view details of such information, which luckily, we found elsewhere for free. During our research process, we discovered that there is a lot of information about Freddie Mac and its investors in the public domain, a factor that enabled us to address all the aspects of the research criteria.
