Fortune 1000s with HSA Ranks 303-327

I have found information on HSAs offered by the following Fortune 1000 companies: Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., Hormel Foods Corporation, Celgene Corporation, Genworth Financial, PayPal Holdings, The Priceline Group (now Booking Holdings), MGM Resorts International, Autoliv, Fidelity National Financial, Republic Services, Corning Incorporated, Peter Kiewit Sons', Univar, The Mosaic Company, Core-Mark Holding Company, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Cameron International Corporation, HD Supply Holdings, Crown Holdings, EOG Resources, Veritiv Corp, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings, Pacific Life and News Corporation. All details have been added into rows 305-329 of the attached spreadsheet.

FINDINGS

In order to answer this question, I searched for information on each of the 25 companies listed to determine whether they offered a HSA plan. After a thorough search through company websites, company profiles, press releases, online articles and news stories I found that there was limited data regarding HSAs offered by the 25 companies. In all cases but one I was able to confirm whether the company offered a HSA plan, but details on which were often limited. I believe that this is because companies only offer out this information to employees. I often turned to Glassdoor as a final option to find data on company benefits provided by employees. For Booking Holdings, after searching through all the above mentioned channels, I was not able to find data to determine whether or not the company offers a HSA plan. I believe that this is because Booking Holdings is an umbrella company, and perhaps has different offerings dependent on subsidiary.

For each company I have used the most recent sources available regarding their HSA plans. I have noted down the year of the plan that the source relates to within column E of the spreadsheet.

Overall, I was able to find evidence that of the 25 companies investigated, 22 of them offered a HSA plan. Veritiv Corp and Peter Kiewit Sons' did not, and as explained above there is no data available for The Priceline Group (now Booking Holdings).

CONCLUSION

To sum up, Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., Hormel Foods Corporation, Celgene Corporation, Genworth Financial, PayPal Holdings, MGM Resorts International, Autoliv, Fidelity National Financial, Republic Services, Corning Incorporated, Univar, The Mosaic Company, Core-Mark Holding Company, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Cameron International Corporation, HD Supply Holdings, Crown Holdings, EOG Resources, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings, Pacific Life and News Corporation offer HSA plans. Veritiv Corp and Peter Kiewit Sons' do not, and there is no data available for The Priceline Group (now Booking Holdings).

Fortune 1000s with HSA Ranks 378-402

Many Fortune 1000 companies ranked between 378-402 offer their employees health savings accounts (HSA) or healthcare flexible spending accounts (FSA). As requested, details on each company, between the ranks of 378-402, and their HSA offerings for employees are documented in the attached spreadsheet.

Information on whether each company offered HSA or healthcare FSA options to their employees was gathered from the employee benefits sections of each company's website, annual reports or - when necessary - LinkedIn and Glassdoor. Employee counts, reported in column G of the attached spreadsheet, were specific to the U.S. if available. Companies only reporting global employment figures were indicated as "N/A". Despite searching their websites, annual reports, and articles in the industry media, in some cases we weren't able to find U.S.-specific figures.

IMPORTANT NOTES

USE OF BENEFITSPRO.ORG
Note that not all companies publicly display information about the benefits package being offered to employees. Some companies only provide an overview of the health plan in their company websites. Specific details are provided in employee or benefit portals where one has to log-in to be able to access the information. In such cases, BenefitsPRO.org, a leading provider of employee benefits information, was used as a resource.

The companies for which BenefitsPRO was utilized are CH2M, Booz Allen, Simon Property Group, Big Lots, First American, NVR, Burlington, KBR and Neiman Marcus Group.

COMPANIES THAT WERE ACQUIRED
CH2M HILL Companies, Ltd. and Spectra Energy Corp were acquired by other companies last year. The acquisition of CH2M by Jacobs was completed on December 18, 2017. Based on the announcements made by CH2M, employee benefits will remain the same until Jacobs is able review CH2M's benefits. No update has been issued so far.

Spectra and Enbridge on the other hand, finalized the merger on February 27, 2017. In the spreadsheet, both the legacy site and the new website for Spectra are placed in the website column. The new website was used to verify the existence of an HSA plan for Spectra-Enbridge employees.

CONCLUSION

Rows 480 to 504-representing rankings 478-502-of the spreadsheet titled Fortune 1000 Companies with HSAs have been updated with the requested information.
