How come they except my order and made me wait for 2 hours? How come they took the order from the restaurant and did not let me know that I will never get the order? So many nonsense. And at the end they cut the money from the restaurant. Why, why is that? You got the order from them and did not deliver to me. The restaurant lost money, I lost time and stayed hungry, the driver eats the food and grubhub does nothing. Wow! I am impressed!" When they make a mistake they make it right — give a credit, apologize and reorder your food." I was getting ready for work at the time and did not receive a phone call or text. That is not the definition of delivery, which is: "the action of delivering letters, packages, or ordered goods." I contacted the company and a refund, which is what I requested was refused, they wanted to offer a 25% or 50% discount on my next orders — needless to say I will not be ordering from this company."   • "I placed an order with DoorDash at 5:23PM with a delivery time of 5:58PM. Based on tracking, my driver never arrived to the restaurant, so I contacted support and they informed me that a dasher was never assigned to the order. I was given a credit for the inconvenience. By the end of the chat (around 6:18PM), I was told a driver had been assigned and that the order should arrive around 6:40PM. At the same time, I received a message saying the merchant had confirmed the order and to just await when the order is picked up. Tracking showed the dasher was at the restaurant at 6:20PM. After waiting, I received a message at 6:43PM to tell me the order had been canceled! After waiting nearly two hours, the order was canceled because "the merchant was unable to fulfill the order". I am sure the order was or would have been filled if the company had a dasher assigned in a timely manner to pick up the order! So I contacted customer support again to inquire about the situation which gave me no resolve. The excuse was the merchants fault. While I was responding to the chat, the AGENT ended up ending the session! I have no idea how this company is still afloat, especially now seeing that it has an F rating! They are completely unreliable. Sadly, this isn't the first bad encounter I've had with them but I kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. But after this, never again. They can keep their "credit" as I will be deleting my account with them. I do not suggest anyone to do business with them." After 2 hours of waiting for food all they said was that they could give me a credit for what I paid, but that the restaurant canceled my order and was not willing to remake it again. So my only option is to order through them again or lose the money I spent on the meal all together. After, I use the credit in my account, I will never order from them again." This is absolutely unacceptable, if you don't have a driver then the order should be cancelled right away. Instead of a customer waiting can't wait to get my food because I'm really excited for my order and find out an hour later it canceled. This is the second time I've tried Postmates and both times it's been a cluster **** NEVER AGAIN, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE TO USE THIS SERVICE!!!" We are a large business location, and Panera Bread caters for us regularly so there's no trouble locating us and since the location is only 5-6 minutes from us, I agreed. Within 15 minutes she was there, with my order! She was very apologetic but I assured her this incident would not keep me away from Panera Bread. She left and we ate. But what happened to the original order? Was it actually prepared and taken from the restaurant? We'll never know. All I know is that I'm going to email Panera Bread right now and plead with them to either use their own delivery service or get a much better one. They deserve better than this. And fortunately, I did not download Postmates app, otherwise I'm sure I would have been charged the same exorbitant fees I've been reading about here. All I was charged was $4 and that is a small amount to keep me away from Postmates. Thank you." Finally, the driver called him at 5:45 PM and stated that she couldn't find the apartment and was leaving. He told her to turn around and he would come to the office to pick it up. Food was cold, and missing two wings(ordered 10, got 8... I am sure that there were 10 in the box when it left Hooters). I called Hooters and talked to the manager, who apologized profusely for the issue and refunded the entire order without question. Manager also told me that she would suggest using Uber Eats instead next time. She said that they have had many complaints with Postmates delivery."
