- Saturdays, 9:30am - 3:30pm
Instructor: Alex Shih, Director of Product Management @ Planet
Key course takeaways include learning how to build software products and learning how to get a job in product. The course results in a certification as a Software Product Manager. September 30, 8:30am to 2:30 pm
Teaches the role of the product manager, the product lifecyle and requirements process, ideation, market research, and agile product management. Students learn skills needed to get a job as a product manager.

This is a two-part bootcamp. The first part works through ideation and market research based on the Minimum Viable Product philosophy. In the second part, you'll learn how to evaluate and continually improve your product through the right metrics and KPIs.
"This 3-day foundation-level training for software product managers will give you the tools to perform your job effectively, reduce the inherent stress of the job and help you make your company more successful. The training provides a full review of the discipline of product management for software products including the management of software parts of software-intensive products, i.e. systems and services. The training addresses the needs of people involved in software product management, including those that the product manager interfaces with, e.g. executive management, marketing and sales, research and development, operations, service and support." There is an optional exam at the end of the course to become a certified Software Product Manager.

Accelerated 1-week: September 11, October 2, November 13 start dates
