Hello! Thank you for your request for a list of the top 20 corporate innovation programs for clean energy. The short version is that my colleagues and I have identified 20 companies operating with the programs you requested: Agentis Energy, Aquanta, Conectric, Diversified Technologies, EEme, GlucanBio, Go Electric, GridCure, Hittite Green Solutions, Hyliion, NovaTorque, Opus One Solutions, OptiEnz Sensors, Simple Energy, Stone Mountain Technologies, TERSUS Solutions, Timeli, VariFAS Biorenewables, NYCEDC, and Sun Buckets. Below you will find a deep dive of our findings.

METHODOLOGY

To gain a better understanding of this market, we researched existing programs that identify innovative programs for clean energy development. Our findings revealed that Cleantech Innovation Bridge (CIB) had selected 18 programs for their corporate clients in 2016. To compile your requested list of 20 programs, we completed further research into trends in the market, corporate leaders, and corporate websites to identify two additional reputable companies that have been recognized in the industry.

Our findings indicate that CIB is a reputable source for innovative clean energy development programs, as the programs featured by CIB have successfully completed a rigorous six-step process to ensure only the best startups and emerging technologies are matched with corporations sponsoring clean energy development. The CIB process includes discovering energy innovation needs, recruiting personnel qualified to provide innovative solutions, completing due diligence on behalf of corporate partners, matching corporations with the best curated solutions, presenting potential partners to corporations, and enabling corporations to select clean energy programs through their preferred method of engagement. CIB is produced by the Clean Energy Trust (CET) and Freshwater Advisors, who source the corporations featured by CIB, in conjunction with the ChicagoNEXT initiative, the United States Department of Energy, Accenture, and Deloitte.
