Can you find and list out all the Saas software tools that you can find that offer educational discounts?
Hello! Thanks for your question about SaaS software tools that offer educational discounts. The short version is that there are a significant number of companies that offer student discounts via SaaS mechanisms. These mechanisms offer students to ability to engage in cloud computing, as well as the ability to easily purchase products that can be used to facilitate their educational endeavors. The attached spreadsheet contains a list of a number of such tools.
METHODOLOGY AND FINDINGS
We conducted a search of websites such as Consumer Reports, GiftCardGranny and SimpleDollar that provide a comprehensive listing of student discounted products. A review of those websites will show the myriad number of companies that offer student discounts that can be realized online. However, many of those product offerings are for things such as entertainment and clothing and were thus not viewed as responsive to the request. Other SaaS products were found through other searches.
From our research and the above websites we narrowed the offerings to those that would be more desirable for business, startup, design and/or finance students (as well as educators). We then included those products on the attached spreadsheet. The spreadsheet includes mechanisms for purchasing or using software applications that are themselves available on a SaaS platform, purchasing products that deliver information, and a few examples of mechanisms that offer students the ability to simply utilize their student status as a means of obtaining discounts on products.
CONCLUSION
To wrap it up, student discounts are readily available online through SaaS mechanisms, many of which are focused on the needs of students in the business, startup, design and/or finance disciplines.
