Research Strategy

We have identified some blogs or websites targeting people who love reading or buying fiction and accepting guest posts. We started by reviewing lists of fiction blogs and websites. We reviewed the listed blogs or websites for those written in English, allowing guest posts and permitting guest writers to link back to a website. These included fiction blogs or websites with less than 10,000 followers and allowing casual writing style (we excluded blogs that focus on formal literature or academic work). Most of the examined fiction websites and blogs (including Fiction Horizon) do "not accept" links to author websites or blogs. It was challenging getting fictional blogs or websites that meet all the listed criteria. We compromised some criteria slightly (including guest writers adding website links). We included fiction blogs or websites that allow reviewers to add links to third-party resources like e-commerce platforms or guest writer/authors' social media platforms.
