  • Difference from Everphone: Cellhire is marketed more as a travel solution both for consumers and businesses. Their brand is all about connecting their clients wherever they go.

Research Strategy:

To identify the competitors of Everphone in the United States, we first reviewed the services and value proposition of Everphone to get an idea of what type of companies could be considered as their true competitors. Upon visiting their website, we saw that Everphone is a full company phone rental service that alleviates the need of businesses to devote time and effort in managing their company phones. We found that the value proposition of Everphone lies in its handling of all concerns related to company phones, such as purchasing and handling of these phones, which frees up a significant amount of manpower from certain departments like IT. With this business model and value proposition in mind, we searched for companies that are similar to Everphone in credible sites such as TechCrunch and StrictlyVC. We were able to locate Everphone's profile on VentureRadar, however, their database shows no results relevant to this request.

We attempted to search for articles and press releases from credible sites such as Forbes and PR Newswire for insights that may lead us to companies that operate in the same way as Everphone in the United States. We were able to find that Everphone is considered as one of the success stories of Mannheim Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, however, no articles that give relevant insights were found.

Finally, we attempted a general search of mobile phone rental services in the United States that cater to businesses. We were able to identify companies that satisfy this criterion, however, they were focused on short-term rentals for events and travel purposes. We have opted to report these companies as competitors as they offer services that are adjacent to the services offered by Everphone.
