Research Strategy
For this research on essential oil manufacturers in the United States East Coast states, we leveraged the most reputable sources of information that were available in the public domain, including business directories and company databases, such as Manta, Zoominfo, and Thomas. We focused our research on finding manufacturers that use rosemary, thyme, and sage for essential oils, perfumes, added ingredients for cooking spices, etc. However, every manufacturer we identified uses rosemary, thyme, and sage for the production of essential oils (basically rosemary, thyme, and sage essential oils and mixes) and perfumes.
Once the companies were identified, we relied on their websites, social media profiles, and business directories to find their location.
