EIG has been plagued with several large scale outages in the recent years. The most famous was recorded on August 2nd, 2013. The outage affected millions of BlueHost, HostMonster, and HostGator customers because the company's data center in Utah went down. It affected a lot of community and web services, and has been categorized as one of the biggest outages in the web hosting industry. Better Business Bureau, an accredited business analysis website, rated Endurance International Group, Inc. as an A+. However, the company has a total of 95 customer reviews - 92 negative, 2 neutral, and 1 positive review - and 470 customer complaints. Endurance International Group has a Composite Score of 3.71 out of 5 stars. BBB has also warned that scammers have recently been using the name of the Endurance International Group, Inc. to send scam e-mails to trick potential victims into sending them money.

A CHANGE IN THE CEO OF EIG

Endurance International Group announced in April 2017 that (EIG) CEO Hari Ravichandran is to step down following issues of lawsuits, stalk holders complaints, and being accused of shady business practices. Moreover, the company have engaged the international executive recruitment firm Heidrick & Struggles to find a new fitting CEO for the company.
