Research Strategy:

We began our research by looking at through NowThis's website, employee review websites such as Glassdoor and Indeed, and Bloomberg. We were able to successfully find all the requested information.

The Next part of the request was to look for the COMPETITOR information for Cox Media Group. As Cox Media Group is an integrated broadcasting, publishing and digital media company, we searched for similar companies that operate withing the same space as Cox Media Group. We started by visiting third-party websites that contain information about competitors such as Hoovers, Comparably, and Craft.co. Using that approach, we were able to find three competitors, namely Twenty-First Century Fox, Tegna Inc., CBS Radio, and A. H. Belo Corporation. Unfortunately, only CBS Radio and Twenty-First Century Fox fit the criteria as they were founded in 2017 and 2013 respectively. Tegna was founded in 1906 and A. H. Belo Corporation was founded in 1842.

Research Strategy

For each company, we started the research on each company website. There was information about their values and culture, and what they offer in their work environment. Then, we looked into employees reviews about the companies, and we selected some of the most recent opinions. The opinions are very diverse because they are about personal experiences. After looking into employees reviews, we looked into the benefits these companies offered to their employees. Some of these benefits were found through their careers portal. Last, we looked for the company's ownership and if these companies were acquired by other companies.
